Elizabeth Dye has been circling the blogging world for a while now due to her beautiful handmade wedding bolero jackets, and we've all been drooling. But wait! There's more! Now Elizabeth is releasing her Spring 2010 wedding dress collection lookbook and we have something brand new, and just as lovely, to talk about! Seriously, they're beautiful. What bride doesn't want a one of a kind dress, handmade, for less than $1000?! Really, you can't beat it and she seems to be sweet to boot. I've never been one for less-than-floor-length wedding gowns, but Elizabeth may have changed my mind:

Every dress is so delicate and feminine!

I'm a little obsessed with the model's wedding hair: the style and the feathery bit!
Now drum roll please......

I think if I were getting married tomorrow, I'd pick this dress, for sure! Isn't is amazing?? It's everything from the small embellishments at the waist to the sheer layers of the skirt to the strapless sweetheart neckline. The perfect dress {for me} is simple, yet interesting in the details. *Sigh* This is definitely one for the "Dream" files.

Inspired by: Twilight's Bella

InStyle has capitalized on their fabulous connections to explore the possibilities of Bella's wedding dress in the upcoming filming of Eclipse, the third installment of the Twilight saga. I will say that I have read the famous {or infamous} series, but I have little interest in the movies, especially after the dreadful first attempt with Twilight! So I bring this little post to you, not with excitement for it being Bella's dress, but simply because I love love love looking at design sketches!! Here's a snippet that gives you and the designers a little insight into the dress inspiration:

In Eclipse, Bella's dress is described as an early 1900s design (which complements her antique engagement ring) with friend and Maid of Honor Alice Cullen's modern tweaks to the train and veil. "You look like you just stepped out of an Austen movie," Bella's mother says to the bride-to-be when she spies her in the gown in the final book, Breaking Dawn. "It's gorgeous! So graceful, so elegant."

Monique Lhuillier's take on a 1920's mermaid gown -- stunning!

Erin Featherston's high neck and puffy sleeves -- very etherial and whimsical!

Brian Reyes' 20th century Edwardian ivory silhouette -- I need a translator for this one!

Max Azria's vintage lace and peaked shoulders -- a real, live doily!

Prabal Agrung's modern train and low-cut back -- loving the red accents!

Christian Siriano's tiers and ruffles -- He's definitely got a future, beautiful!

Lela Rose's bustling details -- my first pick, so classy and chic!

Badgley Mischka's full-length sleeves and strong silhouette -- very dramatic!

Zac Posen's corseted statement -- over the top and fabulous!

Which are your favorites? I'm drawn to all things vintage with a modern twist, so my top three are Lela Rose, Prabal Arung, and Monique Lhuillier, respectively. They're all so beautiful and inspiring... Bella would be a lucky lady in any one of these!

A Video's Worth a Thousand Words

Don't you just love Love? I know it's traditional to have a photographer take a million and one pictures of your wedding day, but when it gets down to it, I think video really brings the memory back to life so much more dramatically! Background songs, a beautifully caught moment, seeing and hearing the smiles and the laughter... I think I'm much more inclined to splurge on videography than photography! Not that I wouldn't want some pictures, but just enough to keep the tradition going :)

Where the Bright Things Are

If you're going to have a summer wedding, I can't think any better way to celebrate than with bright colors, green countryside, and Spanish architecture. Michelle and Rich got married at the Maderas Golf Club in San Diego where the beautiful greenery and club house served as the perfect backdrop. It looks like the weather was gorgeous, but that's no surprise in San Diego!

I'm just now going through the wedding couture collections for next season, but had to share this Chanel design... is there even a need to comment? I happen to love the fierce look of this bride, and what better day to let the world know how much you rock?! I would totally wear black accents on my wedding day!
