Unsuspecting Combination
I would never have thought to put flowers and zebra print together, but I really love this! Now finding a way to incorporate a large canvas of the written word into my apartment decor...

Manic Monday
If it has to be Monday {and cold!!!}, then at least we can have a little fun...
The first snow flakes hit the ground this morning, and as brief as it was, it made me realize that winter is, indeed, here. Some may be saddened by that, but I'd rather just embrace the cold, the wind, the grey, and the snow! Why not? I hope you enjoyed my little weather fairytale this morning... and try to welcome Winter!
And three links to inspire you...

My Ode to the Polaroid
I'll be spending my first weekend off in a long time recovering from The Sickness, so I'm pretty excited about that {please read the sarcasm}! I hope your plans are more exciting and involved than mine -- have a great weekend!

Digital Goodness
I honor of NYLON Magazine's Winter Playlist on iTunes,
I'm highlighting one of their favorite songs today: "Seven" by Chew Lips.
If you like what you hear or want to check out the rest of the playlist (it's a free download!) head over to NYLON for the full scoop. I got mine the other day and I love their choices!

Purple + Beige
I'm completely head over heels for this color combination! Really, most colors look great with beige and golden tones, but lavender elevates the combination to a regal level. There's something so luxurious about purple and gold, which is probably why they've been associated with royalty for centuries!

Here Comes the Bride?
Alright, friends, I'm doing something a bit different. The new wedding dress collections just premiered and I would normally showcase my favorites, but several dresses stood out for all the wrong reasons and I couldn't pass up sharing with you! Continue at your own risk...

Pnina Tornai for Kleinfeld was seriously the worst collection I've ever seen, and so many more I could have chosen. So bad!!

Farah Angsana, is there an 80s time warp? Temperley London: Calling all cotton ball lovers!

Lela Rose mistook the model for a bad lamp, while Melissa Sweet thought hers was a 1960s nurse.
So now that you've seen the worst, everything else is going to look fantastic! Check them all out here.
